We didn't tell children about the pool and kind of forgot it ourselves that there were one so it was wonderful surprise. It takes 10 min by car to drive there from city centre, but with rental car it is no problem, since it is away from city noise and neighbourhood is peaceful. Will recommend this place highly.

We stayed here for 2 nights on our way to Sicily. The staff was really amazing. They provided us with a list of sights to see and beaches to visit, which was great for a first time visit of Tropea. The place is very peaceful, situated some 2 km uphill from Tropea (no chance of going to the beach by foot). All rooms are separate and on the ground floor, so the guests exit directly in the garden. Surprisingly it felt very friendly. The pool is rather small, but even though we enjoyed one afternoon at the pool and it was great. The pool area is shaded by trees over grass, so it made it extra chill in hot August. The breakfast starts at 8 (excellent breakfast), and we had to leave before that. The staff, opened 30 minutes before just to make sure that we had our breakfasts. Not much, but it just says a lot about the staff. I highly recommend the restaurant in the Villa. Very tasteful dinner.
