What a lovely and very confortable place to stay (end of november 2023)! It has everything you need, the kitchen is well equipped, the bathroom with bath is very nice, free parking space next to the house, shops and a big supermarket in walking distance. And nearby hiking options, like Pania della Croce (thank you for this advice Alessandro!). Lucca is also a beautiful city and only 45 min drive away.

In Castello is located right behind the town hall of Gallicano, and there was free parking just a short distance away. the room was small, but charming, with the original stone walls of the property exposed in places. Our contact person, Chiara, was exceedingly friendly and helpful. she cleaned the rooms daily and quickly responded to my questions via text. We had a wonderful stay!!

We enjoyed two exceptionally peaceful days here. All the staff were very friendly and helpful. The food was excellent and served with a smile and helpful information. We were very pleased that the swimming pool did not close for lunch as is often the case. The views were marvellous and there were lots of footpaths to explore the area.

Hote très accueillant. Le jardin etait superbe malgré la meteo pluvieuse.
