With its wide sun terrace and swimming pool, Masseria Corte degli Asini is located just outside Montalbano and has a small farm with animals. Free bikes, as well as free WiFi, are available.

Where do I even begin. We have been travelling Europe for the last 5 weeks and this was hands down our favourite place that we stayed. The pool was beautiful, relaxing and clean. The grounds were beautiful. The rooms were immaculate, spacious, cool and comfortable. The location is central for exploring other towns in puglia. However the thing that made this place so special for us was the service and the delicious authentic food. Every single staff member is so friendly and went out of their way to do anything to make you comfortable. The food was the best we’ve had on the whole trip and so reasonably priced. If I could rate this place 11/10 I would. Already planning a return trip. Thankyou so much for this magical place!

Marietta House, feriebolig i Montalbano

Offering a garden and garden view, Marietta House is situated in Montalbano, 50 km from Taranto Cathedral and 50 km from Castello Aragonese.

We just came back home and can't wait to write about our stay: we are family with two kids (13 and 10) and all of us enjoyed the stay for almost a week. Wide rooms, big bathroom, equiped kitchen and things for small daily cleaning. Very importand was that parking the car was available in the area. Kind and smiling neighbors. We also enjoy the location - next to the center of the vilage. Just right behind the corner is great pasticceria for breakfast and after walking for 2-3 minutes more you can find gereat place for focaccia and other lokal food. Also for us we were in really good position for travel to all "must see" places from Matera to Lecce and a lot of beaches in between, but this was our desire for travel and don't forget to check the distanses if siuts you. I can recommend this place and big thanks to Antonio for the calm hospitality and specially for the sun unbrella which safe us :)

The hosts are very welcoming and warm. You'll be treated as part of the family here. For sure we felt that way, like being at home. Everything was provided to make our stay comfortable, including baby cot and a high chair. The house is newly renovated and everything's remarkably clean. The location is great for exploring the surrounding towns or going to nearby beaches. Grocery stores with local produce and a pastry shop available in town. Private parking provided. We would gladly come back again.
