An excellent host and definitely the best I've ever had! Nicoletta and her husband Sergio were extraordinarily helpful when our car broke down. Without a moment's hesitation, they helped us take our car to a nearby mechanic and helped us complete the process of renting another car (which was extremely difficult since we don't speak much Italian). Nicoletta and Sergio were very friendly, helpful and very forthcoming throughout the entire process and made us feel like a little part of their family. It's safe to say they exceeded all expectations as hosts. When we returned to Ponna to pick up the repaired car they went out of their way to welcome us back and even offered us to stay for a night so we wouldn't have to drive all night. I've been to Italy a lot with my family and have always appreciated the extraordinary hospitality of most Italians. However, Nicoletta and Sergio took hospitality to a whole other level. The house itself was clean with really inviting decor. You immediately see that the owners love and take very good care of this house. Its location in Ponna was absolutely spectacular as it is located in the center of a quaint Italian town overlooking the valley. Truly a wonderful place to stay. When you open the windows at night you will not hear a single sound. We are extremely grateful to have been able to stay with such amazing people and encourage anyone planning to stay near Como to check out this great little place. This was definitely the most memorable part of our 3 week trip, even though we were only there for a single night. Just make sure to ask the host ahead of time for the best parking options nearby if you don't want your car to break down. ;)

The property: huge villa with 4 floors (2 of them yours), small park, fireplace, a lot of paintings on the walls, sculptures, authentic furniture and all stuff. Huge rooms. Fully equipped kitchen, dinning table in the garden. Hosts: highly helpful and friendly. Location: very cosy village in the mountains under the Lake Como. A lot of hiking routes close to the property.

Olimme ilolla majoittuneet tähän viehättävään Bed and Breakfastiin Italiassa kahden yön ajan, ja se oli unohtumaton kokemus. Sijainti, vain 15 minuutin ajomatkan päässä Comojärveltä, oli täydellinen paikka upeiden maisemien tutkimiseen. The location of the apartment was quite beautiful, located a bit above the center with view of the sunset from one of the kitchen windows. The village also has a ton of spots with breathtaking view.

The location is terrific. About 8 minutes on a pleasant walk to the center of town, where you will find great restaurants with friendly people, a terrific pasticceria, and cafes and bars. The apartment was absolutely spotlessly clean and delightful. Wireless internet worked perfectly and faster than expected. Overall simply terrific.
