We really enjoyed our stay at Barbara’s Villa in beautiful Lucca. She was an amazing host - welcomed us warmly with sparkling wine upon check-in and cooked us fresh delicious eggs for breakfast. The apartment was so lovely. It was very rustic-Tuscan vibes but an amazing place to stay. We usually stay in somewhere a bit more modern but this was perfect for our stay near Lucca. We would recommend this resort to everyone visiting the area! The grounds the apartment is on are very nice, well looked after and there's nothing you need. I scratched the rental car ever so slightly, and Lorenzo even had scratch remover to give us to help remove the scratch. At certain times in the day, all you can hear is silence, very relaxing. 5* all round.

A lovely warm welcome. She offered us a lift to the supermarket and to show us where the station was. Comfortable sofa and bed. We have a 1 year old and the flat was safe for him. 10 minute walk to the station along quiet roads and 5 minutes train journey into Lucca. Would recommend and stay again. Thank you
