And most importantly, the owner of La Meridiana, Pietro, is a very interesting, hospitable and sincere and spiritual person! La Quercia was very good, our hosts were very friendly and helpful and although we couldn't speak Italian and they don't speak English Google translate worked a treat. The room was comfortable and very clean with a good sized shower room. There is a swimming pool for those that wold like to use it, unfortunately we didn't have time. Although they don't have a restaurant there is a fabulous pizza restaurant 2 minutes walk away. The breakfast was adequate with a good selection to choose from. There is also a fabulous view from the upstairs balcony.

I really liked everything, it was an outstanding stay though lasted just one night. However, I have always had a strong nostalgia towards Cosenza, and this accommodation is really close to the city centre, but silent, and the owners are really nice and helpful. There is a beautiful panorama from the terrace of the breakfast room.
