My wife and I were blown away by this accommodation. It was an incredible experience! Everything about the apartment was superb: the facilities, the cleanliness, its location, the beautiful terrace (where we watched the sun set over Florence most evenings), the surrounding nature, just fantastic. Maria is amazing, we could not have asked for a nicer welcome. She is very friendly, speaks excellent English and was always on hand to answer questions and offer advice. The pool is quiet, relaxing, private and we had it all to ourselves! We would definitely recommend staying here and we are counting the days until we can come back!

The locals are friendly and very are hospitable. The location of the object is phenomenal. Peace, quiet and a beautiful view of Florence. The next trip to Florence takes us to the same location again. Who wants a holiday outside of Florence, and whenever he wants to go on a tour of Florence, he cannot find a better and more beautiful accommodation.

Great location and appartement. The appartement was very clean, definitely big enough for two people and had all the facilities needed. The couch was bigger and more comfortable than expected from the photo ;) Violetta is a great host that provides a personal touch with very good tips for local activities. Visiting Florence from this location was very easy and there are a lot of hiking routes starting from walking distance from the appartement.

Maria was very friendly and social. The cottage was quaint and comfortable with beautiful views and a lovely patio. It was the perfect ending to every busy day in Florence.

The hosts made us feel we were part of their family. If you like being away from the rush and chaos of a city and don't mind driving (Barbara will show you a place where you can park for free and catch a bus to the center), this is an amazing place. At first we thought we were too far and the driving and parking would be a hassle, but it turned out we liked this little place more than Florence! The location, house and the garden are all 10/10. The hosts have their own home grown food which you can taste in your breakfast. They have several dogs, cats, chickens, ducks, orchard, olives, even their own well. Perfect for a family or a romantic vacation. It was too chilly to use the swimming pool, so I can't comment on that. There are a couple of good restaurants nearby (food is overrated in most places downtown, so try chianina steak in Antico Forno).

Most excellent breakfasts, lovely team, in a beautiful rural location less than 20km from Florence. It does have a very long driveway that is a little surprising the first time

Really, everything. Fruit & olive trees, beautiful flowers… It was less than a mile walk to the bus stop or train station, but it was along a beautiful river & town!

Our stay at the Villa Casignano was Awesome ! Deeply nestled away in the Tuscany foothills just outside of Florence is this beautiful property. Tina and Maurizio were Amazing hosts. They went above and beyond in making sure are all our needs were met. Our daughters even got to experience the joy of feeding their horses and donkeys. Watching the sun rise and hearing the birds chirp was priceless. To top things off, they referred us to a Wonderful restaurant, Nuovo Ranch. Absolutely Superb ! Thank You for an Awesome stay. The villa is beautifully decorated and absolutely huge ! There was plenty of room for our family of four, but the villa could easily accommodate 8-10 people. The swimming pool is very large and was a particular favourite with our teenage kids. The views all around the villa are spectacular.
