The host is very hospitable, him and his family run the location and offer you all kinds of help you would ever need. We stayed at New Year’s Eve and were provided with amazing NY dinner cooked by his family at decent price. He can always take care of taxi and other arrangements, generally very nice person to talk to. He built the villa by himself and paid a lot of attention to details to make it perfect. The location is amazing - it’s away from noisy and dirty touristic locations and gives you very calm and private leisure experience. Rooms are very spacious and well-organized with good sense of design. Every room has its own balcony, where you can enjoy views. The yard is very well-groomed, you can always see small squirrels running back and forth. There’s also a nice backyard with good photo locations. You can chill by the nice and clean pool, the host’s family will always take care of welcome drinks and juices throughout the day to make your leisure even more nice. Try traditional dinners, we were really amazed.

I really liked the villa, it’s a big bedroom and also a living room combined with the kitchen. The villa is very light, there are 5 big windows in the bedroom. No probs with ac and electricity. The host family is absolutely gorgeous!! They own a shop which is in the first floor and a medical center. I’ve had some medical issues and they kindly helped me. The family was so caring and really welcoming, I was even sad to say goodbye. The location can seem for somebody a little bit far away from the ocean. But for me it was perfect: calm, peaceful, safe, no tourists, you can feel real Sri-Lanka living in such place, so close to local people, that’s what I wanted! Also it’s really green and beautiful outside, real jungles :)

Wow! What a perfect stay in Hikkaduwa! The family hosting is oh so beautiful and giving! Constantly making you feel at home and surprising you with traditional treats! The property is so clean and big and has everything you would need! Incredible value for money! We will be back one day!

Hospitality offered was at its peak, the staff being employed had great working experience and the food offered was at par, well spent day with affordable prices.
