Everything was amazing! Staying at green sapphire has been the best experience we've had when travelling. The owner Dylan and his staff are a heartwarming combination that will try to make your stay as great as it can be. Rooms were really clean, spacious, very bright and technically perfect (AC, sockets, bathroom fittings).There are problems with electricity in Sri Lanka, but there is a generator here. They provided us with incredibly delicious and plentiful breakfasts and dinners in a beautiful setting in their garden. Dylan owner helped also with organizing safari with very experienced spotter driver that was so amazing! we saw four leopards and two bears and group of elephants Dylan also arranged for us pickup & drop up services and also he arrange for us evening and morning bicycle tours to temples, lakes, natural sites - all free of charge.

Greeted by super friendly staff. Rooms are great. Our tree house was right next to a monkey family’s tree house ;-) we walked around the lodge, had amazing three course dinner, went on a late night river boat safari, and a half day morning safari. Spotted crocs, elephants, saw fresh leopard footprints (couldn’t spot the cat, however she was definitely there), so many different birds, monkeys. Had breakfast from the provided basket and lunch when we arrived back at the lodge. The location is great, on the river, close to the Wilpattu entrance. We stayed one night but can recommend staying two.

Such a good place to stay! Super friendly owner, full of energy, always smiling and funny guy! Always keen to help in any situation! He also organise safari for you in the best conditions, breakfast and lunch included, good car and good driver. And the food was amazing, big buffet with local food, so tasty! Highly recommend this place, hope to come back one day!

Priya and his team couldn’t do enough for us and was so attentive with utmost understanding and kindness to our 22month old daughter. The food was fine dining at its best and kept making the chicken soup my daughter couldn’t get enough of. Priya’s knowledge of the wildlife in the park was great and again focusing on wildlife our daughter could see.

Leopard Trails was a great spot for the safari drives in Wilpattu. Our host Malmi was very friendly and helpful for our stay, including being our guide on the safari drives - he was very knowledgable and made such an effort with all the wildlife spotting to ensure we saw as much wildlife as possible. The food was delicious with lots of great Sri Lankan dishes. Our room was a tent style room which was comfortable and an enjoyable experience. The camp is in a beautiful, secluded spot. The dinner set up was great - when we came back from the safari drives there was a bar set up for our welcome back, and our table was set up for dinner so nicely with lots of lanterns and a fire, giving a fun and atmospheric environment. The camp is small with 5 tent rooms so the service was nice and personal.

Welcome drink and talk from PR person was very nice. Lunchtime meal was fantastic, evening meal was great. We had already booked a morning and afternoon safari, and they were incredible.

The service at Wild Wadi Wilpattu is impeccable. You will never meet people who will do more for you. The location is a serene paradise; when you stroll out in the morning you see peacocks and monkeys, and in the evening you can sup a cold beer and watch the forest colors change from green to purple to black. It’s a magical place. The food was amazing and the full day safari they arranged for us was superb. The hospitality of Aryun and team was unrivaled. You can book with one of the incredibly expensive places that come up first on google, or you can book with Wild Wadi Wilpattu and have a more personal experience for half the price.
