Cozy, historical cottage with lots of nice touches to bring you back in time. It's quirky because of the age of the property, but that's the charm of it! Kitchen is charming and well-appointed, and the old stoves keep the place very warm in winter. You have to be able to navigate ladders to the upper sleeping area, but that also makes it all the more fun.

We loved the peaceful location! Recently renovated with well located windows that makes the whole experience so much more relaxing. The owners, the eye for details: homemade bath bombs, a complete coffee and tea corner, decorated like a cosy home, beautiful views, comfortable temperature, pet friendly and so on...!

The breakfast was exceptional, fresh, culturally relevant and presented perfectly. Robert and William were perfect hosts and provided lots of information about experiences in the area that made our stay in Fryslan even better.

The home is very clean and tidy. Nice warm shower. Everything what you need in the kitchen is available and the owner provided us a good description for arrival and departure. The area was in februari very quiet. Overalll a very nice stay :)

This was a great property to stay at. It was just on the outskirts of town, but easy to get to the center of everything. The host was very attentive and accommodating. The outside space was especially nice.
