An incredible cabin with the conveniences of everyday life (to a surprising degree!) It is the perfect place for anyone exploring the Hardangerfjord region. A huge house with a full-height loft for sleeping. A large kitchen and dining area was perfect. And a fully equipped bathroom. With a significant distance from Odda (50min) it is really quiet and surrounded by strawberry farms - incredibly scenic. From here, I headed to Trolltunga for a full day hike which is a must-do for the brave-hearted. A drive till Vøringfossen/Låtefossen is another must-do.

The bedrooms were comfortable and recently updated and decorated very nicely. The breakfast that is handmade by Maria is wonderful. The bedrooms are on the third floor of the house with shared restrooms on the second and third floors. Maria was very responsive and helpful with questions leading up to our stay.

Stunning view and a really good atmosphere

We stayed for 3 nights in July. When we arrived it turned out that the penthouse apartment which we had ordered was occupied so they offered us the apartment on the ground floor which was not what we expected. But after a few minutes the issue was settled and we were given a bigger penthouse apartment without any additional payment. The apartment was huge, with 3 bedrooms, a big bathroom and a spacious living room. The kitchen was fully-equipped, there was a dishwasher so we didn't have to do the washing-up. The view from the balcony was fantastic even in cloudy weather. There were lots of electrical outlets everywhere which was very comfortable, you could charge mobile phones wherever you wanted. The parking was very close to the house. The Wi-fi worked perfectly. The apartment is really expensive but it's worth it. It was the most comfortable stay during our travel in Norway.

great place. we had a cabin with a patio/balcony with great views over the fjord. everything you need in the kitchen, the dishwasher was very useful for a family. even the sauna was used. grocery store is near by
