The perfect escape from routine. Sheltered between the woods and the river you will completely forget about your busy life and be immersed in the slow pace of the Portuguese countryside. Ideal for contemplating the boats slowly drive by. The property is quite estense, we weren't sure where it starts or ends, as the house is completely surrounded by the woods and gardens.there are different nooks and spaces within the property to explore, walk through, swim, sit and contemplate. The house has been renovated very beautifully with an ample and sunny deck and all the necessary amenities. Each window offers a unique view onto the landscape, making them memorable and picturesque. Waking up to chirping birds, sunny views and friendly cats will be forever in our memories.

Wonderful family business...Rute (Ruth - Hootee) & Pedro are your hosts...honest, hard-working, and eager to make your stay very special. Dinner at VillaSete is a must..3-4 courses (25€/person) everything from scratch and garden. Pedro alternates fish/meat dishes nightly...Excellent green/white/red tables wines with port/aquadente or coffee to finish... daytime - relax by the pool...under cherry/orange/lemon trees.

We had the whole house with a terrace and swimming pool for us. It is very clean and beautiful. The area is nice and quiet. The kitchen has everything you need to cook for yourself. We were also able to sit by the chimney in the evening. It was a really enjoyable stay and Maria was also very nice.

The house is amazing. We liked everything, especially the stunning view on mountains, river Paiva and wine yards. The garden is spacious and the swimming pool looks cool. beautiful property, perfect for a relaxing break, the host are super friendly and helpful, creating a very welcoming experience, they are always around the farm to reply to any questions, some evenings they organize dinner and sit down at the table with all the guest… you feel like being at your family farm. plenty or fruit and vegetables in the farm, our daughter enjoyed very much interacting with the other kids and picking them up. feeding the chicken, playing with the dogs…
