We were welcomed with lovely port wine and cakes, the space is amazing, there’s a lovely terrace with a wonderful barbecue. The bedrooms are spacious and cozy, the kitchen very well-equipped. The hosts were extremely welcoming and always available, information about rules of the house and amenities were very clear. The views are incredible and the surroundings very peaceful.

An easy 4 km drive up into the hills near Peso da Regua, the apartment is a high-end renovation of a beautiful schist house. Stylishly decorated. The 1-bedroom apartment has everything you need and is perfect for even up to two couples because it has two bathrooms, so once the bedroom door is closed you have two private spaces. A filling and delicious breakfast was brought in a picnic basket each morning. Great view of the valley below and you can watch the sunset. Very good internet. Owner José and on-site Claudia are very friendly and helpful.

What a wonderful stay we had. The premises are spectacular. The view is breathtaking. The rooms are spotless and well equipped. There are many common areas to be used by the guests. Our favorite was the balcony, spacious, cozy and the view was amazing. Margarida was the perfect host, she was so accommodating and always available to help. Excellent place to enjoy the area and have time to relax and take in the scenery. Thank you Margarida for making our stay memorable

A lovely host with a lovely place. The place consists of 2 floors and a rooftop terrace with a barbique and seating corner. One sleeping room on the ground floor with a toilet, shower and washing machine. In the first floor a seating corner, kitchen, bedroom with a toilet. A nice check-in present with coffee capsules, bread and cookies and also home made wine! Smooth communication although I spoke English and the host Portuguese. You can find free parking very close to the place. Well recommended place!

Cecilia and Fernando were lovely hosts! we will definitely come back! The place was very tidy and clean, had clean sheets and towels, a private pool, a nice balcony to eat outside with the amazing view. They gave us wood for the outside barbecue which was amazing, they were always available for our questions, had a lot of really good recommendations, and Fernando also gave us a taste of his Porto wine as a welcome. Unforgettable stay! We also asked for additional wine tasting at their vineyard which is a must if you stay there! it is a perfect place for a couple or families touring the Douro valley, even just for relaxing with the beautiful view of the vineyard, just breathtaking. Highly recommend it!

The property was very clean. It was well-equipped and had everything we needed. Nuno and Andreia put a lot of thought into making guests feel at home. We had been in Portugal for 10 days and stayed in various accommodations in Sintra, Obidos, Porto, Braga, Coimbra, Fatima etc. My family members voted unanimously that Casa de Vila Seca was by far the most comfortable stay.
