This was one of our best stays in Romania. Set in beautiful rolling hills of Bucovina, Casa Jucan is the perfect place to stay. As well as the three traditional homes it is also run as a small holding. They have pigs, cows, sheep and chickens and all the food served is produced on site. This includes fresh milk, home made pastrami and smoked meats, home made butter, yogurt and cheese as well as preserves and vegetables. They also had some very nice apple juice, wine and spirits which we were also home made. The accommodation itself was beautiful and was like stepping back in time; but with hot water and electricity! We were made to feel very welcome and our children loved roaming around and playing with the young dog. The owners spent a lot of time talking to us and treated us exceptionally well. We stayed in the oldest of the three houses and stayed in traditional bedrooms with wood fired heaters. We can’t recommend Casa Jucan highly enough.

The best location from this area to come with the family or with a group of friends. The price-quality ratio is very good. As far as I'm concerned, it's the best priced chalet from this area for what is offering. The host was always checking with us (via phone) if everything is fine and if there is anything they could help us with, but everything was perfect from the beggining to the end. The rooms are big, beds are comfortable. In the kitchen there is all you need to make every kind of food. Outside, there is big patio where 12 persons can sit toghether without struggle, being equiped with a grill, BBQ disk which will make your food taste like heaven. The view around the house is stunning, the place is quiet and very relaxing. There is nothing we could complain about during our stay. Everything was perfect and I could recommend this to any person.

The cabin was very clean, we had coffee pods and a bottle of wine 🍷 waiting for us when we checked in. We had to arrive way earlier and the owner was very supportive and we were able to checkin without any issues.
