Phuttal Residence is a cozy hotel right by Khlong Mueang canal. It’s a cool place to chill outside under trees in the garden, watching life go by. The property is full of beautiful trees. You’ll love the birds singing around. The rooms are comfy with nice beds, and the staff are really helpful. You can easily walk to nearby restaurants for meals or use Grab for delivery. It’s a great spot if you’re looking for a relaxed, friendly stay with a touch of local life.

The Ayothaya Riverside House is perfectly located right next to the Historical Park. The Host was incredibly friendly and helpful and the rooms simple but very comfortable. There is no A/C, but we were there in the hottest time of the year and sleeping there with the fan on was no problem whatsoever. We also had the possibility of having our laundry done here, to rent bikes for exploring the city and to store our luggage before check-in and after check-out. Wonderful view from the terrace!

We had the bottom room from the double room apartment just next to the river. We liked the cozy, practical style and the view from the bed directly to the river. Good location not far away from the center, but quite and cozy. We did not meet the owner, we opened the room ourselves (with assistance of neighbors :-) ), but if we had an issue (water) she reacted immediately. We liked the place.

Cattani's Riverside Home is truly like a home away from home. Peaceful and beautifully landscaped grounds on the river, super comfy bed, AC blows very cold, neat eclectic collection display in my room, meals were homemade and delicious, but by far the most exceptional aspect of Cattani's is the host. I especially enjoyed morning talks over coffee with Naana. Naana and Brian both treat you like a returning friend. As a solo traveler doing a month-long trip all over Thailand, Cattani's was my favorite place to stay. I would return in a heartbeat.
