Very good surprise for us .at this liw price we got high standard: first thing is comfortable.very clean.new rooms,big room with back balcony with green view.very quiet place.near the city.high quality mattress and bedding.big flat tv connected to good tv box.kettke and coffee.5-6 electric points in the room.comfortable furniture for computer point for bags and clothes.in the big new bathroom we found good soap and shampoo gel.very strong venta in bathroom .the aircondition in the room was perfect. We stayed 3 nights.cleaning every day was perfect .parking is attached to the room.very nice people .when we will come back to chanthaburi for sure come back to this lovely place.

We were so well cared for at Baan Lek. The rooms were spotless and beautifully designed, the whole house is an architectural interest and makes it a really cool place to stay. At breakfast we were treated to a lots of things especially bought for us, as we’re vegetarian: sweet buns, lots of fruit, Thai breakfast snacks, omelette, juice, coffee, different breads and some fruit from the garden. We were offered the use of a two wheeler and bikes. Our two year old was really welcomed. It was a short distance walk to the waterfront and cathedral.

The room and the whole facility were really clean, the tiles in the bathroom were shining. Comfortable beds, good water pressure in the shower, everything had been thought of by the friendly host. She cooked us breakfast in the morning, Thai style, that she made suitable for vegetarians by request. Although she didn’t speak much English, she was successfully communicating with us using a translation app. Although on the side of a main road, the room was quiet, facing the back of the house.

This apartment is big and comfortable. It's on a busy road right next to the Taksin Maharat shrine and not far from the old town and the waterfront. There is a lot of traffic noise but the hosts had provided earplugs and I slept well. (I live somewhere very quiet; if you are used to city noises it probably won't bother you as much anyway) It's an easy 5-10 walk to the old town from here. Good breakfast served each day. The room has a fridge and kettle and you can eat there (plates, cutlery etc provided plus a kitchen sink for cleaning up) so good for takeaway/delivery if you don't want to eat out. There's also a shared kitchen with microwave if you want to heat/cook. Bathrobes provided as well as towels which was a nice touch.
