This was the best place we stayed at in Vietnam. Truly homely atmosphere and kindness. They have great value for money, sea view, sea-facing rooftop terrace, great food at cheap prices... There's nothing I would complain about. Everything is supplied, including hot water (not always the case in Vietnam). Absolutely wonderful host lady. She even helped us when we left one small thing in the room sending in by boat to Hoi An on the next day. She helped us come back to the mainland when they cancelled out boat, even brought our stuff to the port. Please stay at that amazing place!

It is becoming more and more difficult to experience real life as we travel as most hotels conform to international 'standards and norms'. One of the reasons why I loved staying here was I was warmly welcomed into the home and family by Tuan and his parents. Staying here gives you a real insight into life on this wonderful little island. The room is spotlessly clean and had a fantastic view of the water and little port. There is a little balcony upstairs where you can sit and watch the world go by - or better still sit down at street level in front of the house. Tuan organised my boat ticket so all I had to do was turn up. Breakfast consisted of freshly made banh mi by Tuan's mother and coffee. And the great 'leaves of the forest' tea. When I asked his mother where I might get the tea she called someone who took off on a motorbike to the market and brought various packets to me to buy. No pressure to buy though. I also really enjoyed the conversations with Tuan's dad - all through Google translate :) It was so interesting. I would recommend both Cham Island and Tuan's homestay to anyone looking to peel back a little of Vietnamese culture and everyday life

The owner of this homestay is very friendly and helpful. You cant rent a scooter here as well as get support on booking speedboat tickets from HoiAn to Cham Island! The location is quite but close to the harbor and the room was comfortable. Breakfast and dinner could be ordered in advance if you talk to the owner. All in all we were very satisfied!!!

I had a wonderful stay at the homestay. The host was very friendly and helpful, and the room was clean and comfortable. The location was perfect, close to the beach. Well, it’s tricky to describe what exactly I liked as it happens when you realize that it is just ideal… I’m really surprised with that feelings, because actually I used not to stop anywhere more than a week. I’m pretty addictive to strong emotions and new experiences + I’m a remote worker, so those it must help me stay productive, not get me distracted completely 😄 Idk how this place managed to provide me that controversial balance, but this is what owners actually did. I mean, OCEAN is seen on my terrace, heard from my room and I come to the beautiful shores many times a day to drink my coffee or coconut, eat and just to relax. And my terrace is like a park when me I observe the wildings: cute monkeys doing their foraging and social life (comparing to many tourist places, these babies are indifferent to you, that allows you to enjoy their regular way of living), big squirrels jumping over the trees, billions of exotic birds producing pleasant tranquil sounds, huge colourful butterflies… And none of them somehow intrudes your space, because Khan protected everything with a net, and that gets just well into a wholesome authentically marine vibe of the Cham island. Food: Khan and his family cook for you in their resto since the early morning and up to the night, aligning with your schedule, preferences and custom requests: western, vietnamese, you decide. Huge portion of pancakes with jams, honey and fruits, toasts with eggs, the freshest grilled fish, big shrimps, squids, barbecue, vegges... Better come and try on your own! Oh, and there are 24/7 kitchen and fridge for you to eat something or take the products you put there and…. one fridge is full of beverages, you can relax whenever you want 🥴 Laundry, variety of tours, rental, taxi services are available as well. Btw, I extended my stay and sincerely happy to share my feelings about this wonderful place and family ❤️

A quaint Island victorian home, the four homestay rooms are upstairs with private baths and are very comfortable. there is a sitting area and the beautiful veranda.

The room is very nice and clean, there’s a fan and air cond which is very good. Every room has its own bathroom where you can find everything you need: towels, flipflops, shower gel, toothpaste, air dryer. You can rent a motorbike (if you don’t drive you can have a ride with the owner, he’s very nice and we did an island tour with him!!!) and you can have breakfast at the property. The property is not in front of the sea but it’s very close by!!

Mama Nhi and Papa Lo are attentive hosts, even though we have little common language between us, we were mostly able to communicate and understand each other! It is a home stay, so you are very much sharing a home with your hosts and other travelers. Mama Nhi is an excellent cook and all our meals were delicious especially dinner, mostly vegetarian with some little bit of fish/seafood. Fishing with Papa Lo was an experience, going out in a small basket boat, we didn’t catch anything but that’s alright, it was enjoyable just being in one of those boats.
