Location, Owner, Pool Area and of course the Mad Potter pottery class... all wonderful! Our 3 young kids loved everything of our 3 nights stay at Kismet. We visited the Random Harvest Indigenous Nursery (10 min walk) were we had a very nice breakfast. Would recommend this accommodation, would come back!

Something different, staying at a place stuffed with antiques both inside the rooms, house and outside (vintage cars) in midst of a nice garden with pools just outside Joburg but still close. Owner and staff very friendly, also arranged a braai for us outside at the pond.

This was a little slice of heaven! The thatched cottages and beautiful setting were a welcome retreat as we stayed a few nights for a wedding at a nearby venue. The staff were so accommodating, booking massages for us at a nearby spa and even taking us there in the Monchique branded shuttle bus. The on-site restaurant is a wonderfully convenient amenity, I couldn’t recommend this place more!

For our 24th wedding anniversary I booked us a room with dinner, bed and breakfast. From the moment we walked through the front door I knew we were in a very special place. What an absolutely gorgeous home with friendly, helpful staff who looked after us so well. My husband and I are both tricky to cater for: he's a pescatarian (no meat), and I'm allergic to gluten and dairy. Not ideal guests! The food was delicious and in generous portions. Love the 24/7 tea and coffee station. The beds are incredible: extra length superking with pillow top with really good quality pillows. The swimming pool was lovely on a very hot stormy afternoon. All rooms have a balcony and we were up in the trees. They even have a generator that runs everything including the TV! We will definitely be back, for 2 nights next time.
