Situated in the Piéton district of Gruyères and just 80 metres from Château de Gruyères, Au soleil de Gruyères chez Chantal provides free WiFi and mountain views. Everything! The room was gorgeous and had everything you could need. Chantal added lovely touches to make my stay perfect. She is a lovely lady who made my stay very special.

The owner is very welcoming, the studio is large, comfortable, very well equiped and clean. The bed is great ! The place is a bit out of town from city center but there is a parking lot. Didn't try the breakfast but I definitely recommend this place for a stay in Friburg.

Built in 1750, the Ofenhaus was originally used for baking bread and is situated next to the owner's farm house 1 km from the centre of Murten. We loved staying at the quaint little ‘Ofenhaus’! It was everything we expected, based on the Booking.com description, and maybe even a bit better. :) The cleanliness was exemplary! I really am quite exacting concerning hygiene — and this place was literally spotless! The whole place smelt of fresh laundry when we walked in — it really doesn’t get any better than that! The water temperature and pressure in the shower are great! Since both my husband & I have long, luxurious hair, this is a crucial point for us. Many holidays have been ruined, alas, because of bad (cold, weak) showers — but not at the ‘Ofenhaus’! Everything works to perfection! The location is really quiet & calm, but the beautiful medieval town of Murten can be reached on foot (via a short walk of 1km). We thoroughly enjoyed our stay, and would definitely book the ‘Ofenhaus’ again if we happened to stay in the area in the future!

Appartement de Vacances Philipona is set in a renovated farmhouse surrounded by idyllic natural scenery. Palézieux Train Station is just 3 minutes’ drive away, while Vevey is a 15-minute drive away. Very comfortable and quiet place in a beautiful surrounding. Spacious, clean and equipped with everything you need. Perfect bads. The early morning was a bit noisy because of the donkey downstairs, but it was nice to see the doncey and the goat and the alpaka there. Lovely place.

The room is super nice, comfortable and clean. The breakfast delicious. The place is quiet and perfect for relaxing. I highly recommend this place, its the best option.
