This historic hotel in Rothenburg ob der Tauber is just 100 metres away from the Sankt Jakob church. It offers rooms with wooden décor, free Wi-Fi, and typical Franconian food. A wonderful experience in a half timber house. The room was really big and spacious and felt very homely. Easy to walk to every attractions. Breakfast was fantastic.

Had a problem when we arrived with the key safe and couldn't get in. One quick phone call and problem instantly resolved with an upgraded appartment

Even the floor felt nice to walk on. Truly the best and most comfortable place to stay in the area. Easy check-in and out. Möckmühl is very quiet and deserted, this place made up for it! We had 0 problems.

Super clean room and bathroom, with a very comfortable bed. Not to mention YouTube, Netflix and many other channels available on the TV. And very close to the train station, which was perfect for my logistical needs.

The apartment we had was clean and comfortable. We found the bed very comfortable, maybe a bit too firm for some. The apartment is part of a mill complex and is family run. The place was so peaceful and who doesn’t want to fall asleep to the glorious sound of running water! The location was perfect, easy to park there and walk up in to Rothenburg, it is uphill but we are in our seventies and managed it with comparative ease in about 10 minutes. Parts of the mill are very old and the history of the place was visible in the buildings. The family who own the place were lovely and friendly and very welcoming. We felt the apartment was excellent value for money, we have stayed in similar places in the English Lake District but at three times the cost. Highly recommended!
