Set in San Sebastian City Centre, 200 metres from La Concha Beach, Pensión Garibai features air-conditioned rooms with free WiFi throughout the property. Outstanding hotel. Perfect example of a supposed two-star hotel that was better functionally than some five-stars I’ve stayed in. Perfectly fitted out bedroom - not huge but well designed with a six-foot bed. Things that some hotels get wrong were great here like lighting, shower. Great location a street away from the sea and just between the old and new towns. Perfect for both. Great restaurant below for breakfast - also good organic supermarket. Good coffee maker available 24 hours.

The arrival arrangements are excellent. Everything we needed to access our rooms late in the evening went perfectly well. The place was spotlessly clean. Rooms big, bright and airy. Bed was really comfy. The tea and coffee facilities on the first floor were very welcome. Little biscuits left daily too. Our room had complimentary water and a fizzy drink every day. Beds made daily and fresh towels provided daily. Location perfect.

Spacious room with a superb view of the town and bay from the balcony. Attention to detail was obvious with beautifully laundered white linen and a breakfast that was plentiful, fresh and varied. The friendly greeting on arrival and helpful information given about where to eat in town, get petrol etc. was greatly appreciated. We look forward to returning to Higeralde in the future staying and eating at the planned restaurant with it's incredible view!

Super clean and beautiful outdoor area. Nice local cafe opposite as well. Great facilities and lovely little cakes, tea and coffee in the place
