The apartment features 1 bedroom, 1 bathroom, bed linen, towels, a TV with satellite channels, a dining area, a fully equipped kitchen, and a patio with garden views. The accommodation is non-smoking. I wasn't expecting to have a full kitchen in the room, along with some essentials such as coffee, salt and sugar for cooking breakfast. It had lots of pots and pans, along with plates, glasses, cups and silverware. The room was quite large. I expected a smaller place for the price of the room. The bed was on one side, the kitchen on the other side, and a dining area in the middle along with a couch for relaxing. The room has a private bathroom with hot shower, which is needed for the cold mornings of Quetzaltenango. The place was about 5 minute walk from central Park with the cathedral. The room was remodeled lately, in a historic area of town, so it was interesting to see how they used to build the houses a hundred years ago. They had a big pila where they still washed clothes and dishes by hand. The room is also to the back of the house, so there was no noise pollution during the night, which means that I slept very good. Also, it had a comfortable bed.
