We would highly recommend for those looking to come to the Nilgiris hills, in particular foreign travellers who want to understand local culture and relax in the countryside. The WiFi was good enough to do some work calls which came up, which was helpful. Perfect English spoken. We enjoyed tea tasting at Tranquilitee and recommend Cafe Diem for lunch, an organic vegetarian cafe with a stunning view.

The place is so peaceful and relaxing and the view from the terrace is lovely. The tour with guide Daniel was really amazing. I learnt so much about the forest. He can really help you understand how nature works in this area. So much more than spotting animals. Manu helped me organize so many things to make our trip work out well. If you watch the film Elephant Whisperer you will see what this area is all about. Despite not having a car to get there or away we still had a great time with help and introductions from Manu. It's the perfect place to stay for a family with young children. The indoor and outdoor play areas and swimming pool are such a bonus! We also loved the breakfast. Service was top of the class. The clubs downstairs were a nice getaway in the evenings. We will definitely come back.
