We happened to be there around the Christmas season, so the attention to detail by having the place decorated (with even a Christmas tree!) was a really nice touch and it made us feel like home. I cannot wait to go back and I 100% would recommend!

It is suitable for a family with up to two children. Be a guest here and you won't regret it!

There really is no other place like it. We visited with a fairly large family group and we all found a room in the 3 bed room apartment which spoke to our individual tastes. Even during the extreme summer heat the sleeping areas were cool and airy. The kitchen in our area was basic and charming with a beautiful little terrace which could be open to let in the breeze. I really enjoyed hanging out in the kitchen and cooking. The house is surrounded by a sculpture gardens filled with the proprietor’s own work, adding to the beauty and mystery of the lush surroundings. The pool is cool and clean and has a beautiful view of the house, garden and woods. It was heaven for my 9 and 5 year old kids and in turn for my wife and me. I really can’t overstate how much we enjoyed our stay and we look forward to returning some day. The highlight was really the hospitality warmth and helpfulness of the hosts, Giovanni and Agnes. They were warm, helpful and welcoming but allowed us plenty of space to feel at home. Giovanni was extremely helpful with tips for side trips and amazing dining suggestions in the area and Florence. They even spotted us some pasta when the stores were closed for a holiday :) My kids loved the dog. Wonderful place, wonderful people a rare and memorable experience.
