He went above and beyond to ensure that I had a comfortable and enjoyable visit. Not only did he provide excellent recommendations for local restaurants, but he also made reservations on my behalf. The location was nice and easy to find if you go by a car, with the added bonus of having an onsen and a supermarket nearby. I highly recommend for anyone looking for a welcoming atmosphere.

This is a wonderfull Little guesthouse, in a scenic location not too far from the train station. It is a bit of a walk on foot but easily accessible by taxi and the way to nearby Koyasan is very convenient by train. The owner is amazing as are the views and the guesthouse itself. I highly recommend it.

Directly off the main street leading to Nara Park, and super close to JR Nara Station. Its facilities are super up to date, but you can feel the age of the house in a good way. We had also left an item accidentally after checkout and the host did his absolute best, including going out of his way to get it back to us. Overall awesome experience.

Every night there is opportunity to get to know them. Very welcoming and caring atmosphere. Cleaning every day to maintain consistent clean environment. Respectful and accommodating. Host helped me reserve things and was open to questions.

I could stop at location, location, location because that is what most people look for when making a booking. Guesthouse Tamura is located in a jewel of a location; nearly every main attraction is within a short walk. But we enjoyed Gueshouse Tamura because of the excellent and friendly staff who go over the top to provide a relaxing getaway, truly a 10 out of 10 in all aspects of our stay.
