Phil is a wonderful host, very friendly, informative and helpful. The house and the rooms are immaculate, beds super comfortable. The place and the neighborhood are quiet, very quiet, and the street is absolutely beautiful. We visited our daughter about 10 blocks away and were out late every night, walking back to Phil's place between 11:00 and midnight each night alone by ourselves. It was 100% user friendly on the street, no safety issues at all. It is an old residential area, established, well kept and impressive.

Loved our room. Food was wonderful at breakfast. They accommodated us by allowing us to invite our son for breakfast at a minimal extra cost. Really nice. I'd stay there again!

Set within the Flatbush district in Brooklyn, Brooklyn Artist Delight has air conditioning, a balcony, and city views. I went a different way in NYC this time and rented the couch from my host. Normally I stay at hotels. Everything went perfectly. The optimal communication beforehand, the access to the apartment and the availability of my host. The privacy was maintained even in this "open space". The location is close to a 24h supermarket and deli, so you can get everything whenever you need it. 5min walk to the subway where there are connections to many important stations. Ideal. Since my return flight was late in the evening to Germany, I was even allowed to leave my luggage in the apartment until the afternoon and then check out - at no extra cost, but also only on personal request. This is certainly not standard. I am very grateful to have had this opportunity. Thumbs up!
