Everything! We loved the setting, the location and the atmosphere of the hostal. The hostesses were very friendly and accommodating. Breakfast was first class and served every morning. We tried home made marmalade and home made cookies. This was the best breakfast ever that I had experienced. The room was small but comfortable and the bathroom was in the room. The beds were changed every day and were comfortable and super clean. The kitchen was offered to be used any time and was fully equipped with glassware, plates and other necessities. The owner also offered free food and wine and beer for a small amount of money. Location was remote but we got around and it was convenient to all the places we wanted to see. We met families with kids that come every year for a visit. There are so many things to do for kids, we were surprised to know about the parks and the nature reserve designed for children. We would definitely comeback!

Nice village in the middle of the Basque interior. The appartement located on the top of traditional farm building, great quality of the renovation/adaptation. You can finish your day hearing the sound of small river passing Ituren and wake up with the sheeps' voices. If you prefer the silence it's enough to close the windows. On the ground floor you can try a local food, natural and fresh products, prepared in a simple way, we love it. Mirentxu is a super host, very nice and helpful. She doesn't speak english, but we haven't any probs to communicate.

Beautiful location near the French boarder. The hosts were very welcoming and despite our pitiful Spanish were able to communicate with lots of laughter. The evening 3 course menu del dia was lovely and included wine, water and bread. very, very reasonably priced. The breakfast was super, fruit, breads, cheeses, meats, cereal, fruit juice's hot drinks, eggs, pastries and cakes!

The house is beautiful, and the village is absolutely adorable. We didn't get to use the pool because it wasn't open for the season yet, but it looked like it would be great. We spent most of our time on the deck on the back of the house. The front of the house faces the river (across a road), with lovely river sounds (plus a few trucks now and then) in the bedrooms. The deck is huge! We ate all our meals out there given the gorgeous weather. The area is absolutely beautiful. Hiking and biking opportunities all around. We also really enjoyed the cafe in the village. We meant to go to the restaurant down the street but ran out of time.

The appartment is in an incredible location. It is fully equiped, with washmachine, beds. The host is incredible helpful and nice.
