This is a beautiful little hotel overlooking the city of Blibao, with a family-feel. The staff is really nice and helpful! The room was big, nicely decorated, very comfortable and quiet as it is located in the "countryside" above the city. The breakfast was fresh and delicious. Lots of options, everything home-made. Everything was perfect! The hotel is located a close 5min by car from the funicular that takes you into town - it is approx. a 30min walk to get there. If you don't have a car (like me) just keep this in mind :) You can also walk up and down into/from the center which is a bit of a longer walk but you get nice views all the way.

We loved everything about this lovely place. Javier the host was very attentive and made sure that we had everything that we needed. The property was perfect for us with a beautiful outdoor garden area. There was a bus stop near by, a local shop just up the road and the metro station was a short distance away. The Guggenheim museum was just down the road. Javier left us lots of maps and information about what to do and places to see. Just over the road in the Tiboli area (there are lifts to transport you up and down the streets) we found lots of quaint bars, shops and restaurants all only 5 minutes away. We loved the authenticity of this place and would definitely return.

We were very surprised with how nice, clean, and comfortable the house was. We chose to stay as it was close to the airport after staying in San Sebastián, but really it would be perfect for anyone looking to visit Bilbao! the living room was perfect for us to chill out and watch a movie on our last night. The apartment is only a 10/15 min taxi from Bilbao city centre.
