We stayed only for 1 night (unfortunatelly) and we really enjoyed all time there. The owners and dogs are great companions:-) Pleace is wonderfull , calm and domestic , just feeli like at home there. The beds very comfty, good sleep there, everything for breakfast ready for you even welcome drinks. Close (by foot)etc 3min is small shop and local restaurant with good price food and drinks. We stayed here for two nights during the Almond Blossom Festival in Tejeda. We had a great stay here. The unit is beautiful, San Mateo is very charming, and there is a great bakery directly across the street. We had dinner twice as Tasco Baco — highly recommend. We stayed here the beginning of February and were not cold like others mentioned.

It was such a perfect spot. We did a last minute booking and Felipe got the place ready for us within minutes. he threw in extra fresh eggs, oranges, coffee and wine which was a special touch. The place was nice and clean and had everything we needed to he able to cook inside or on the fire. We enjoyed sitting outside on the balcony to eat our breakfast.The bed was comfortable and there were board games that we could play. The place is stunning set into the rockface meaning the temperature inside the property is perfect all year round without the use of AC. It is so tranquil and set in a beautiful valley. We had our own key meaning we could come and go as we liked without bothering the family. The location is near to St Mateo where there is a great pool and gym and many restaurants and the best patisserie's. The location is also near/ in the mountains so we decided to go for a stargazing tour in the evening which was convenient l.

The location is very good, in quiet and peaceful countryside, yet convenient, only 30m driving to the capital and near nice hiking trails. The host is very considerate, helpful, and kind. He replied promptly on WhatsApp whenever we need any help and generously gave us home grown fruits, which all very tasty. The house is in excellent condition, perfectly clean, and fully equipped. The surrounding floral garden is very lovely, too. We also love it when the host's cute dogs welcomed us with excitement. The pool is small, but it was refreshing to take a little swim there after breakfast.

The check-in and check-out were very easy-going, the property management very nice and responsive. The location next to Cruz de Tejeda and the view must be wonderful by clear sky and good weather. We could still enjoy the mountains a lot and hike out of the fog and clouds just by descending a few hundred meters. Easy park in front of the house.
