The Hosts were incredible and quite helpful with Local amenities. Actually got me a Doctors visit for the pain I had from getting Dental work done. Went over and beyond what's expected from B & B hosts. Will definitely stay again when we're in the area. Lovely quiet spot in the Country.

Delightful hosts! I was alone in the house the first couple of nights but got to visit with the hosts sometimes in the day. Sheila even gave me a tour of the town. Very outgoing and a real pleasure to get to know. For the accommodations, I was expecting a shared bathroom, but she made the ground floor toilet private for me and my room had a sink and shower, so all that was a very pleasant surprise.

One of our best stays in France. Host was very interesting & looked after us well. A very good conversation had with the host :) Met us on arrival and we liked each other straight away! A brilliant apartment, in a superb location. Overlooking Ruffec. Thanks for all you did for us - hope to be back again!

the facility is comprehensive. microwave, coffee machine, kitchenette, heatpump, pool in the summer, electric gate, 3 minutes from town center, etc etc

Truly magical place. Situated on the beautiful chateau estate, you are allowed to wonder around as far as you like among the trees, parkland and along the Charente river. If you value contact with nature over modern facilities like Wi-Fi or multi channel tv it is the palce for you. The bed is comfortable, water always hot, fridge cold, clean towels upon request. People very warm and welcoming. Local honey - delicious. Holiday idyllic rural retreat.
