A lovely ex farmhouse in the middle of the country ( so don’t moan about not being near a town!)- You will not starve over the very generous breakfast ! if you give the owner advance notice she will cook an evening meal making awesome use of local ingredients. We stayed one night on our way down to Catalunya, and it could not have been better. We were the only hosts for the night. Paul, the owner, gave us a very warm welcome, and the dinner we booked (and he cooked!) was outstanding. Great wine and conversation too! The house is beautifully renovated, and our dog had plenty of space to run around, and also could play with the local dog, Papi 🖤 we wish we had more time to stay and discover the area or just chill, because it’s worth it.
