Highly recommend staying here! Why stay in a hotel with impersonal service when you can have: an idyllic setting, charming hosts, super clean rooms, homemade breakfasts, picture perfect yard, and even a pool if it’s warm enough! All for a lower price too. It was a shame we only stayed one night as we were captivated by the gorgeous sunset when we arrived at Le Moulin de l’Etang. Wish we could’ve stayed longer to enjoy more sunsets. Do yourself a favor and book your stay here to have an authentic French experience.

The room was spacious as were the grounds and the garden room. Also very welcomIt was all very attractive and breakfast with home made jams was excellent.

A very beautiful and peaceful location, yet only ten minutes from Belleville, shops and trains. The accommodation was very tastefully presented with sensitive historic details but also modern amenities. We loved having the pool to enjoy. The hosts were very helpful and friendly.

The owners were very nice and welcoming, and the chateau impressive in beauty and character. Our view out of the window was stunning. We had a spacious room and bathroom (with nice thick soft towels!). The breakfast was amazing, Armelle shared with us some of her homemade jams, everything was delicious. We felt as we were treated as friends, not just clients. Best stay of our whole trip in France so far, highly recommend!

Absolutely beautiful place to stay. Such a lovely and huge suite in a truly incredible 15th century old farmhouse, beautifully renovated and decorated. The bedroom was huge, with gorgeous linens and ample fluffy towels. There was even wine and snacks left for us. Christelle, the host, was amazing to us, always ready to help with anything we needed, really going above and beyond. We got to meet her whole lovely family, making it a very special stay for us. Breakfasts were also exceptional and served in an atmospheric antique dining room, loads of choices, fresh croissants and brioche and MORE, all served on the best and most beautiful china, in front of a roaring fire. This is a very special place, don't hesitate!
