While a few minutes off our route from Metz to Lyon, this property was still very easy to access and overall a lovely surprise. We put in a last-minute booking, so the room was not ready yet when we arrived, but Sergine was extremely welcoming and hospitable, working quickly to prepare our room. Meanwhile we were able to enjoy their wonderful garden and pick as many cherries from their trees as we could eat! In the morning, she provided fresh bread, croissants, and homemade strawberry jam (and even some candy treats for the kids). The air conditioners in the bedrooms were efficient, and we all slept well!

The location was excellent! Close to the train station and the center of town. Such a great view from the window and especially from the terrace. It was a lot of space for the price too. I thought it was a very charming place to stay. It didn't feel like one of those generic rentals but more like a place someone would actually live, and I liked that. The water pressure was fantastic!
