The building has been beautifully renovated and maintained and our tasteful room, up a flight of stairs, was immaculately presented in serene tones of grey and white. The bathroom was similarly very clean, with modern facilities. A kettle with tea and coffee and a small dish of sweets was thoughtfully provided, as well as a small refrigerator. Attention for tall people - there is low beam which you must duck if you are more than 165cm 🙂. We were on a bike tour and, although a secure grange was available, the property was in such a quiet area and the weather so dry, it was enough for us to lock them together in the courtyard. Our host was kind enough to offer to wash our cycling clothes, an offer we gratefully accepted. We had dinner in the village of Saint-Montan, a few kms away. Breakfast was taken on the terrace with local honey, excellent jams and an astonishingly thick and creamy fromage blanc with crème de marron - delicious! Everything was very comfortable and we would recommend without hesitation.

Wonderful hosts, Patrice and Isabelle!, most welcoming. Had a very nice tasteful dinner with them. Many themes to talk about! Great dinner, great persons! Would like to come back once... Who knows..
