The location is a bliss, everything you'd need if you are looking for a countryside retreat. The lodge is positioned in such a way that you get almost full privacy. The hosts were a delight. I'd recommend this for anyone visiting Normandy that enjoys peace and quiet!

Everything about Gite Des Pommiers was absolutely perfect. We were welcomed with the most glorious Lemon drizzle cake, which was a lovely touch. Kirstie and Shaun were the most perfect hosts. And let us know about things happening and restaurants in the local area. And any questions we asked about other things to do, they answered very promptly, and nothing was to much trouble for them. The whole place was spotless, The kitchen is well equipped and brand new, and also great to have a dishwasher - so much better than having to wash up. After all, we are on holiday so 1 less chore to do. 3 large sized bedrooms, All the beds had extremely comfortable mattresses, so every night was a great nights sleep. WIFI was great always working and great reception. If you want to watch TV, there is a nice sized tv. And comfortable chairs/settee to sit on. and a large dinning table to sit the family round for dinner. Outside is a gas BBQ, plenty of seating and a table. And the grounds are beautiful and very well kept. Many mornings, we were sitting outside with fresh coffee and croissants. Within a 30 second walk is a small tabac shop where you can buy most of your essentials, or just sit outside with a drink and watch the world go by. Sourdeval and Ger are both only a short drive away with everything there that you need. This Gite is definitely a diamond find, and will 100% be re-booking for next year. Kirstie and Shaun definitely make you feel very welcomed. It is certainly a home from home. thank you both for a truly wonderful stay and we look forward to returning sooner rather than later.

What a wonderful farm this is! We were greeted so warmly by our hostess (and three dogs) who showed us around her property. A tent was available to rent but we brought our own. Luckily there was also a table and some chairs so we could easily enjoy our dinner and breakfast with a beautiful view. I must say all the animals there were in excellent health, clearly they are very well taken care off. There were chickens (and chicks), donkeys, sheep, goats, dogs and cats with kittens. The basic necessities but everything was very clean. I highly recommend staying here!

Everything, hosts were so lovely, made me feel very welcome. Breakfast was fantastic. Bed very comfortable and the views were amazing. Perfect place to stay and will be coming back.
