Parkin House exceeded our expectations in every way! The home and guest rooms were beautiful and well-appointed. The host is a wonderful cook! Our breakfast in the sunroom overlooking the hills was like eating in a 5-star restaurant. We look forward to returning to the area so we can enjoy Parkin House for more than one night!

Wonderful stay, John was friendly and welcoming on arrival. The room was spotless, had lots of little extras (very cool gaming balcony bit behind the bed, mini fridge, kettle, toaster) and the views were wonderful! Sound of the stream outside was lovely to fall asleep to, bed was very comfy!

Beautiful house, one mile walk along the canal towpath from Todmorden. We booked a double with a lovely view across the canal to the hillside beyond. Beautiful bright & quirky decor. The bathroom was shared, but there is an additional toilet, so no problems arose. The bath/shower was excellent, with an easily operated shower (always good news!). The bedroom itself was small, but comfortable, with tea/coffee aplenty, & a lovely comfy bed. There is a shelf on the landing with a great selection of books. Breakfast was sensational! Our hosts were wonderful, making sure that we both had exactly what we needed. Probably the friendliest B&B I've ever stayed at ☺️ The garden would have been made available to us, had the weather been better...
