It was a lovely cottage with plenty of space. For a family of 6 with 4 kids under 5 it's quite hard to get everything packed up and beds stripped etc by 10am in order to check out on time. But it was manageable. The house decor is pretty dated but perfectly welcoming for a short break. The location is near newtownards and quick to get to most places you would want to visit.

The location was wonderful. We had a beautiful farm next door with lovely sheep outside. We came during the winter season and couldnt take advantage of the outdoor grill facilities however there was a stunning fireplace with a firepack which really helped with the bonding. Additionally, the wash room has tons of board games, we were in disbelief at how exceptional the property was. The user guide had local restaurant, attractions, bus information etc. We initially rented a car because we assummed theproperty was inaccessible by public transport. This was surely not the case because the bus stop was a mere 7 minute walk from the property. The view from the dinning room and bedrooms were stunning. I cant emphasise enough how perfect everything was including our outstanding host who went above and beyond to accomodate us. Highly reccommend

We were returning visitors because we enjoyed our previous stays so much. The location is quiet and the hosts are always very friendly, kind and go out of their way to help. Plus there is the wonderful breakfast that keeps you fuelled for the day

House was heated up before we arrived. Love that because we where wet true after walking at Silent Valley Mountain Park. Kids very like bathroom 🛀.beds at hotel quality level. We had a good sleep 😴. It is very nice holiday home. Adequately to hause price. Milk prepared in fridge. Nice.

Fantastic house, so clean and the owner messaged beforehand with all the details for getting into the property. Everything so fresh and clean and the decor was lovely. Beds were comfortable and plenty of space.

The location was perfect, set just outside of the city in the beautiful countryside. Offered great views and was very peaceful. It was very quiet, I read some reviews that noted traffic noise, we couldn't hear anything through the night given the fact the accommodates are set right beside the road, we had zero issues with noise or traffic. The place was very clean, it looked as if there had never been any previous guests. The bed was very comfortable, and there were lots of linens and towels available. The hosts are extremely welcoming and friendly, the accommodations are set on a family property and it definitely gives you that "just like home" feeling. We would highly reccomend travelers check out this location, I wish we were staying in the area longer. We would book again in a heartbeat!

Such a perfect little oasis. Steph is a marvellous hostess and has thought of every little detail to make a stay here perfect. As a couple we found the setting really romantic. The bed was so comfy and toasty and we loved lying relaxing listening to the wind and rain. It's superbly insulated and the decor is so tasteful. We purchased add ons of the breakfast pack and Rachel Bakes cupcakes. Utterly delicious. Bonus that our dog was able to come too 😊 We had dinner on the Saturday night in Daft Eddie's which is a short walk from the property. It was fabulous too. (Just make sure you pre book a reservation as it can get busy)
