LOVED it here! We booked very last minute but we were so pleasantly surprised when we arrived. The property is just beautiful and the view is stunning. We so wished we could have stayed for longer. The bed is super comfortable (probably the best nights sleep we had on our journey), and they have everything you would need there for you. David is also a wonderful host and we can't wait to return!

Suki is a cozy and peaceful place to be, it has everything you need for your self catering holiday. It was a lovely touch to have tea, coffee and some shortbread waiting for us. There are some great walks locally so Angus our dog loved the holiday too.

We had the pleasure of staying in this lodge for a birthday trip, it is spacious and luxuriously furnished (4 large bedrooms) and decorated stunningly, even the outdoor space is well equipped…… loved all the “homely touches” and how clean it was, it is a great base for visiting attractions..we decided spur of the moment to visit John O groats! But it is perfect for visiting beaches and other sights in Scotland….

The hosts were lovely. Every detail was included. Beautiful, secluded location but easy drive to town. Queen size bed. Nice separate seating area. Very comfortable.

·The room and furnishings were on the rustic side, but everything was spotlessly clean. We were comfortable and happy. Three things in particular made this a great stay for us: 1) An absolutely enormous and delicious breakfast! You make your selections the night before, and let me tell you… you will NOT leave hungry. 2) We found our hostess to be very sweet and good natured. She was helpful and communicative, reaching out via WhatsApp to give us check in information, dining options, etc. I am used to having to reach out myself for info, but she made it easy for us. 3) We stayed at this place at the halfway point in our trip, and we fully expected to have to waste half a day finding a laundromat to clean our clothes. We mentioned this to her, and she offered to handle our laundry for only £10 per load— wash, dry, and fold. We would’ve paid more at a laundromat AND wasted precious time. Her helpfulness ended up being a huge help on our trip— it put us half a day ahead with our sightseeing schedule, and as a result, we made the most of the sunny weather. We literally were able to do an entire additional hike because of this one thing. Anyway, yep, great property. Excellent food, comfortable, nice people.

We stayed at 6 B&Bs during our visit to Scotland. All were good but this was the best and most comfortable. Excellent King-size bed. The only discomfort we experienced (in most of the places we stayed) was the use of a comforter inside a sheet pocket. While this is a great idea, the comforter was too warm and there was no way to adjust it except to throw it off. This resulted in either being hot or cold. All said, a minor complaint.

great property - location perfect for quick visit to Tain on the way to Lands End!!! Great shower, comfy bed and kitchen good enough to cook a decent meal!!! loved it!!! hope Phase 2 goes well!

There was plenty of space to accommodate the 4 of us and the whole apartment was fresh and clean. The kitchen was well equipped and had a table which seated 4 people. The living room had lots of seats and a sofa, with an electric fire which kept us cosy. There was 1 ensuite bedroom and the other bedroom had a private bathroom beside the kitchen. The beds were very comfortable in both bedrooms. The apartment was above the St. Duthus Hotel but was quiet and peaceful. The staff and owner (Kirsty) were extremely friendly and helpful. Alan, the manager, couldn't have done more to ensure both our stay in the apartment and our evenings in the restaurant and days exploring were exceptional. We will be back!
