A modern, clean, like new apartment. Extremely convenient location and a super friendly host. We spent a day at the beach to come back and receive a message to say we had been left fresh fruit to refresh us. No one has done that for us before and a beautiful gesture.

Very nice and assistant staff, delicious breakfast and a great view. Location is easy to find and close to the sea. The room has an AC unit as well as retractable fly screens on all windows.

We had a delightful stay at early April. The BBuSS exceeded our expectations in a small town. The home is lovely and well appointed, yet comfortable like home. Our rooms were spacious, and the bed was perfect. My husband’s family were from Calabria and he and his sister wanted to trace where their grandparents from on this trip. Gabriella is a gracious host and chef. She and Alberto served a traditional Calabria dinner for us that remind my husband and his sister so much about their parents. Of cause, the breakfasts were fantastic. We started with a gourmet Italian homemade bakery and cappuccino every morning. It was a memorable 3 days stay.

Breakfast and cooking facilities were brilliant, a massive help to be able to cook dinner in the evening too. Despite a language barrier everything was explained fantastically and all questions answered promptly. The location was near to a fantastic beach and woodland, brilliant in the evenings and well worth the walk from the station compared to a property in town

Angela, who met us at the property, was lovely! She was really friendly and helpful and even offered to take us to the station when we left. The room was very comfortable with a small terrace and a clothes drier. The bathroom was fab with a huge shower and 2 sinks! It was very near to the beach but a bit of a walk to the station!

The B&B is located in tranquil surroundings on the outskirts of Catanzaro yet a few kilometres from the sea. The structure is modern, impeccably clean but above all so beautifully decorated. The rooms, which are named after different master painters, are decorated in the style and with themed murals of the painter to which the room is dedicated. We stayed in the room attributed to the Austrian painter Klimt which carries a huge mural of The Tree of Life painting. The level of detail and precision is truly awesome. We were allowed to check in early and were warmly welcomed by staff member Mary and later on in the day by owner’s parents Anna and her husband. All the team made sure that nothing was amiss. Indeed, on the first night when we could not find the restaurant recommended, they came to our aid and ordered on our behalf home delivery of delicious food. This was accompanied by a bottle of wine kindly given to us by the host’s parents. For the first couple of days the breakfast consisted of delicious homemade desserts made by Anna herself. Bread, cheese and ham were subsequently kindly added to meet my preferences. The room comes with its own kitchen and coffee machine (capsules are provided). Room has access to a common terrace with tables were one can sit and have breakfast. It also has access to a shared kitchen where filtered water (still and sparkling) is available for residents to consume. The B&B is 30 mins drive to Lamezia airport and within comfortable driving distance to Squillace, Le Castella, Santa Severina, Amantea (recommended by Concetta) and La Sila which we hope to do on our next stay 😊
