the owners of the property are very kind and welcoming. they were very helpful in accommodating our late night arrival to the property and sent us instructions from the highway because there were road closures and google maps is unreliable in this part of the countryside. we loved hearing about and understanding the history of the property. the courtyard is a giant and beautiful and the terrace where you can have breakfast or enjoy wine has a beautiful view of the mountains and countryside. the breakfast offered is a great value and high quality with both sweet and savory options. and the dinner we had on saturday during our stay was simple and yummy and prepared with fresh local seasonal ingredients. i especially appreciated how accommodating they were to my vegan plant-based diet.

The location was perfect for me. I spent two days walking the streets of Polizzi and had no trouble returning to my room. The host/owner was very courteous, helpful with needs both inside and outside his establishment, and a pleasure to be with. I highly recommend Baroon Bistrot.
