The hostess was a very sweet, friendly, flexible and very helpful lady. Nothing was too much for her! The room was very clean and equipped with everything needed!

I had a wonderful staying in calipso It was much more than i had expected, i had a beautiful, big, clean room with a wonderful balcony overlooking the sea, the place has a Huge beautiful swimming pool and i loved to hang out there, i also would like to mention the host Andrea, an amazing woman that helped me a lot with all the things that I needed and i felt like she really took care of me especially with the fact that i was traveling by myself, she helped me with ordering food, taxi and great advice about Catania. I definitely recommend this lovely place, i had a wonderful 7 nights stay that was valu for money (and a fair price) and i will definitely come back again❤️

Spacious, clean and modern apartment

The apartment was near a fantastic small port with excellent restaurants across from it. Nearby, just a 30-second walk away, is a supermarket with everything you could want. Only a 3-minute walk will take you to a train station that connects you practically to everything. The house is spacious, ample, and a fantastic experience for the family. The host is ready to help you with any needs you might have. My family and I highly recommend it! It was one of the very important parts of our vacation.

La Casa di Matilde in Ognina, Catania is an exceptional apartment that exceeded our expectations. The recently renovated space is cozy and well-appointed, with two bedrooms, two bathrooms, a balcony and a fully equipped kitchen featuring a microwave, stove, fridge, and washing machine. The highlight of our stay was the helpful and accommodating host, who made our late check-in seamless. The space was immaculately clean and tastefully decorated, making us feel right at home. Despite being located about 5 km from the city center, the apartment's proximity to public transportation made it easy to explore Catania's attractions with AMTS buses running until 12:30 AM and tickets costing only €1, available at nearby tabacchi shops.

We had such a great stay at this apartment! The host was amazing—super friendly and always available whenever we had questions or needed anything. It really made a difference having someone so helpful throughout our trip. The apartment was spotless, really cozy, and had everything we needed. We also really appreciated the little extras—snacks, bottled water, and some really good coffee! It all made us feel right at home. Definitely one of the best places we’ve stayed. Would 100% come back!

The room was spacious, clean, and fresh, with crisp bed linen and towels. Good shower cabin size and extremely cozy bed! I especially loved the beautiful view of Etna volcano from the balcony. In the morning I enjoyed a delicious Italian breakfast with fresh brioches — a lovely way to start the day!

All about this accomodation was excellent. Interior, cleanness, location and breakfast exceeded our expectations. The hosts were friendly and helpful which made our stay in Catania easier. Parking spot is a plus when in Catania I highly recommend this stay!

Very clean, modern designed , extremely comfortable bed , good size tv in the front of the bed with with netflix and great internet speed. Coffee machine in the room. *In many properties around sicily this is missing, tv are usually very small with limited italian channels and for coffee u need to wait till breakfast. We loved to have our coffee in bed before starting the day and watch our movie after all day running around Location is perfect for shopping in catania and Etnapolis Worth to know: Check in is at the coffee shop 100m away. Very nice and helpful host. Good breakfast - sweet pastries and also eggs, cheese and ham. Good location for visiting Taormina and Etna. Parking on the street closeby is possible.

Location: Colourful ambiance next to the market. Near café, restaurants, tours, monuments. Accommodation: Charming, clean and comfortable. Host: Friendly, helpful and caring. Arranged a taxi for me in an emergency.

The property was beatiful. The room was simply amazing. Its set up as different rooms/cottages placed along the property, in fairytale like locations. Can't recommmended it highly enough. I really loved everything about this place. Looking forward to coming back again.

close to catania center 25 min with car, supermarket and all facilities round the corner, nice view

We stayed here so we were close to the base of Mt etna although you really need car. ( check with the owner) if you are oming in from cantani the best bus we found was the 901

The hosts were wonderful, super friendly and helpful. It felt like a family. The view of Etna from the terrace is amazing and the facilities provided were very comfortable and clean. The private parking is very convenient and the property and surrounding neighbourhood felt safe. Would definitely recommend it.

This apartment is just great, very new and the rooms were very spacious. Both bathrooms where well equiped and the living room area was very cozy. Pasquale was a great host! He was very helpful and also got to taste the amazing Napolitane pizze and his own baked bread. I'd definitely go again, we felt like home.

The complex is new with modern furniture and quite big for a couple. The photos perfectly reflect the room. The location is suitable for those who want to visit Catania,Etna, and Taormina in a couple of days. The hostess was kind and friendly. She gave us immediate responses to our requests and also useful information about our trip.

Great place to stay nearby Etna. Very comfortable and clean room with Etna view, in modern building located in quiet area, with private parking. Owner is very nice and helpful. Highly recommended!

Beautiful property. The pool and spa are tremendous

The most memorable thing about this place is most definitely the host Dario, very kind and attentive to the needs of his travellers. The location is easy to find with a private (gated) parking space, great breakfast, clean and comfy room. Overall a great stay, would highly recommend giving it a try if you are in the area.
