Self Catering Accommodation in Mascalucia

Our host was outstanding - going way above and beyond to help us with a punctured tyre. He couldn't have been more helpful in a difficult situation.

Diego is very good and helpful friend and did a lot for us to have nice rest. The apartment has strategic location to visit all nearby locations (Etna, Aci Castello, Aci Realle, Taormina etc), not directly in the town, but in quit and peaceful place, without noise at night. The apartment is fully equipped, with comfortable beds. Kitchen has all necessary staff to prepare food. From all windows and balconies open nice sea view. Lots of private parking space outside.

It’s a lovely room, spacious with a balcony :) Great location, around 10min walking to the main city centre, hotel staff is polite and helpful. ☺️

The hosts were super nice and also the room was big, clean and had a special character that fitted to catania.

How does one describe three nights accommodation in a place that felt like home. An exceptional place has been created here by the owners Marina and Salvatore. I am a solo female traveller, at 68 yrs meeting people is not the same as at 20 yrs. I was treated so wonderfully. Each booking has their own place, a small house with a kitchen, a large bedroom with a tv and aircon. The bathroom was a good size, toilet flush excellent 🙂it's important. Everything was simple, neat, clean and comfortable. The gardens are the highlight and there are paths that meander everywhere. There is a large swimming pool, lots of sculptures, peacocks which sadly now don't roam the property, chooks, a gorgeous dog and exceptional staff who were part of the family. The breakfast, a freshly baked cake, warm bread, homemade jams from the orange orchards, endless coffee, eggs, cheese, meat and much more.. If you want a reprieve from travelling and excessive crowds this is the place to be. Thank you Etna Botanic Gardens and Marina, Salvatore, Maria, Schara, Mordi it was memorable.

This apartment is just great, very new and the rooms were very spacious. Both bathrooms where well equiped and the living room area was very cozy. Pasquale was a great host! He was very helpful and also got to taste the amazing Napolitane pizze and his own baked bread. I'd definitely go again, we felt like home.

We absolutely loved our stay! Everything was perfect from the moment we arrived. The accommodation was spotless, comfortable, and had everything we needed. The hosts were welcoming and helpful, and the location was excellent. We truly enjoyed our stay and would definitely recommend this place to anyone visiting the area. Thank you for making our trip so enjoyable we hope to come back again!

Nice apartment on fine location between Catania and Etna. Parking space is on the premise and behind closed gates. The host was very nice.

I loved how attentive to detail the hosts where. Whatever we asked for, they were more then willing to help us and provide. They were always on key to assist and they were very nice all throughout.

Wonderful and clean apartment in a very tranquil area and also premises secured by gate,parking inside the premises. Outdoor area is beautiful.Host is helpful and also left us tea and coffee and some snacks.

I chose the location to be close-ish to family, but was amazed by the perfect proximity to both Etna and the town. We were able to enjoy a quiet, private space while still able to easily pop into town for meals and groceries. Twice we drove up to Etna on a whim. The parking was perfect and we felt very safe leaving our rental in behind the gate. I was worried that it would be cold as it is still April, but the heating was perfect. Shower was hot and strong (better than home!) I loved the effort the owner went through with snacks and gifts. I appreciated the juice (or rather, my son did!) All in all, i'd be happy to return to the same location again!

Our hosts were exceptional and made us feel at home, a home away from home. Place was clean and pool was very inviting but weather wasn't great. Location was superb by car and very close to restaurants and other places of interest. Safe parking within the property. We only spent 2 nights but would definitely revisit for longer.

Great house at a great location for exploring Mount Etna. The host was very nice, answering all our questions promptly, including some tips on where to go. We really enjoyed using the barbecue and pizza oven as well.
