The host is super nice and the accommodation is clean and tidy. Being away from the main tourism it is calm in the nights and you can sleep well. Anyhow it is close enough to the ancient side, I even walked there (maybe not a recommendation for everyone). I would definitely come again!

We book a deluxe family room 2 beds room. This was more of a family suite with 2 interconnected rooms that sleeps up to 5 people. the rooms were beyond our expectations. Beds are very comfortable. Spacious bathrooms with modern fixtures. As soon as we walked in we were warmly greeted by Lakshani and Dinesh. After a delicious welcome drink, we were ushered to our rooms that we felt like an oasis after a tiring day of traveling. After a brief rest and a tasty cup of tea, we head out to worship Jaya Sri Maha Bhodiya and Ruwanwelisaaya. We anticipated to return by 8pm for dinner but we returned well past 8pm. Surprisingly, Dilan were waiting for us with a smile in his face (Although his work shift was about to end). We apologized for been so late for dinner but he was very accommodating with a smile. After stuffing ourselves with delicious food prepared by chef Sujeewa, we retired to our rooms. Before we left the restaurant Dilan mentioned that breakfast will be ready around 8am (as far as I remember). Early in the morning we realized that we better leave around 6am so that we can visit Sigiriya Rock before it gets hot. So I informed the hotel staff we would not be staying for breakfast (although we paid for it ahead of time). Despite such a short notice, they (Sujeewa, his staff and Dilan) arranged out breakfast before our departure which must be applauded. Based on our experience, this place is highly recommended for anyone who is looking for a place to stay when visiting Anuradhapuraya.
