Gavin’s place was our favourite place to stay in Sri Lanka! The location of the house was so tranquil, and the house was so peaceful. The pool was wonderful as was the outdoor shower and the rooms, we all slept the best we did throughout the whole trip. We had our own Tuk Tuk and it took us about 10 mins to get in to town. Gavin’s housekeeper Dilshan went above and beyond every morning, making us an amazing breakfast with eggs, toast, fresh fruit, tea and coffee. Brilliant hospitality and lots of suggestions / help from Gavin about what to do in the area. It was truly a stay to remember, thank you so much!

Sujee, el dueño del establecimiento, es un tipo encantador. Le dijimos que necesitábamos teletrabajar una semana y nos puso escritorios en la habitación y compró 2 sillas nuevas para que pudiéramos trabajar cómodos. También le solicitamos lamparitas de escritorio para tener algo más de luz por la noche, y al día siguiente nos las compró. Además, nos ayudó con absolutamente todo. Realmente una pasada. El Wifi funcionó perfectamente. El mejor Wifi de toda Sri Lanka con mucha diferencia (de hecho el Wifi no nos funcionó en casi ningún sitio). La casa es una pasada. Es la mejor casa donde nos alojamos en Sri Lanka. Tenía de todo: ¡hasta una lavadora! Pudimos hacer la colada y nos volvimos a España con la ropa limpia en la maleta :) Las habitaciones son grandes y cómodas, con aire acondicionado y buenas mosquiteras. Un 10.

Where to begin.... going to Maneesha guesthouse LITERALLY feels like going home. As a solo woman, it's very important I feel comfortable and safe. Here, I feel loved and cared for like I am at home with my family. This is my 4th time in 5 years staying with this amazing family!! I cant stay away and i will definitely be back ❤️ Amma and appa are the most beautiful people and nothing is ever too much trouble. Randika (their son) is an amazing human who will be my brother for life ❤️ he will assist you with any question you may have about exploring sri lanka, including places not many tourists get to visit (and look out for his new tour guide business in the future 😍😍😍😍) They must offer the best hospitality in the world!! I have been to many places and countries and nothing comes close. You will never be hungry or thirsty, with theeee MOST delicious homemade food and drinks and plentiful portions. They can help you with scooter rental from an outstanding bike shop with top quality bikes. Randika also gave me an excellent scooter lesson to brush up on my skills and help me be fully capable driving sri lankan roads! The backthroom and room are spotless and comfortable (best pillows in sri lanka!). You'll be sure to get great sleeps here! Behind the house is a cinnamon plantation and in front is gorgeous green jungly goodness. You can relax on the balcony watching the squirels run around the trees. Monkeys and beautiful birds can be seen too. Plus the occasional wandering peacock 😄 Basically, 100000/10. ISTUTI, BUDU SARANAYI ❤️

Very comfortable, clean and quiet. New renovation, beautiful apartment, balcony. Slept well, was with a girl, we will definitely stay again if we are here.
