The view was incredible!! There are dogs that stay with you (they never go inside though, well trained), and protect your porch. The staff especially Uditha was wonderful. They were more than happy to arrange any type of tour we wanted and when all we wanted was to go hiking from the glamping, he arranged for us to have a free guide just so we didn't get lost. If you are driving, the road up is rough!! But Uditha arranged for us to park below at someone's house and get driven up the road by another driver which was perfect for us. The location is remote.

It is in the midst of a forest. A nice small river flows nearby with clean water. The window has a superb view. An amazing Sri Lankan food is a treat, after we walked a lot in the Horton Plains National Park. It also has a fire place. They have a tuk-tuk and a van for taking to nearby places. Beautiful Ohiya railway station is not far away. This is where the mind-blowing train route along Ella is there. Very friendly staff and nice view from anywhere in the hotel. It gives you the forest stay experience with all the necessary comfort. Ohiya is a tiny place surrounded by the highlands, and Icy Falls is well situated to take advantage of the view. We spent two nights there with the intention to visit Hortons Plains, the staff were very helping for organizing transport to the park, and well as suggesting other activities for the remainder of our time. We had a lovely balcony for our down time, and also enjoyed the meals in the restaurant.

very nice family business with beautiful surrounding and amazing sunrise view. Some of the best Sri Lankan food we have had in our 3 months in the country and lots of it. Very quiet surrounding. Owner went beyond what was expected, getting fuel for our Tuktuk from 9 km away, providing us with tea and cake during the day and making us a take away breakfast at 5 am so could be at the Horton plain early. This place is not to be missed. Having your own transportation would be a plus be the owner has a Tuktuk and I am sure it would be available to hire if needed

Nice hotel. Basic room, but the owners were really friendly and good. They made me a big dinner, arranged a Tuk Tuk to get to World’s End and gave me a packed lunch. Ohiya is also a nice location. Recommended if you’re there.

Just about everything. Tea on arrival and departure at midday. The room was brilliant with breathtaking views. The owners kind and helpful. Remote and peaceful. We had half board and the evening meal was really good.

The team at Capoe house do a great job of keeping you happy and entertained. There is a butler that will meet your every need also with an amazing management that keeps the place tidy and beautiful. Food was good, I would recommend going for full board at least.

We ended up paying a bit extra to upgrade our room. Large comfortable bed and pillows. Good spacious bathroom and shower with hot water. Use of a sitting area adjacent the room. We had a great Sri Lankan dinner with lots of different dishes as well. Good breakfast though spicy.
