I stayed there with my wife and three children and we absolutely loved everything. The owner was really nice and friendly and showed us all the facilities. She had prepared the fireplace and sauna for us. The location is beautiful and very peaceful, in the middle of the forest and with a lake full of wildlife surrounding part of the house. The house is in great shape, pretty new and very spacious. The gazebo was impressive. Every small detail had been thought of and the decorations were very tasteful. They had plenty of firewood and bottled water for us. The kitchen was completely equipped. The lighting of the ruins of an old mill was magical. Also a very nice walk to Gauja river. I'm so glad we stayed there.

Lovely, quiet and very green location, close to river lake and Cesis. Bed (even tho it’s a sofabed) VERY comfortable, in fact probably the best sleep we’ve had in long time. Kitchen has all that’s needed for cooking basic breakfasts and dinners. I love that’s there’s mosquito net on window, so we could sleep with window fully open and enjoy sound of rain and birds chirping.. and no traffic. Host even hooked us up with wifi, thanks! We loved to stay here so much that we even extended our time here, and again the host was very helpful and accommodating.

The host is a great guy who cares about details of your stay! It is a quiet place where you can enjoy each others company without the noise of the city. Right next to the property, on the next street is located a good supermarket where you can get some food, snacks and drinks for more enjoyable stay.

Absolutely everything ❤️ The house was huge, living area was spacious and bedrooms were comfy and relaxing. The garden was huge and well kept. The host was friendly, helpful and very accomodating. The friendliest German shepherd in the world was a bonus ❤️
