This hostel was located a short 5-10 minute walk from the main part of town, on top of a hill with a great view of the ocean. The facility was very clean and the hosts were very helpful with anything we needed. The hostel did have a bar on site which made it easy to get a late night drink with music playing. The bar was not very busy while we were there but they did mention they often throw parties there. One important note about this hostel is there is a little hill you have to walk up to reach the property which was not an issue for my group, but just keep this in mind for when you arrive as if you have a lot of luggage you may want to take a tuk-tuk from the van station.

I stayed in a fan room hut, so it is “camping” but not staying in a tent. I had 4 walls, electricity and a fan. I think my accomodations were pretty okay — as a camp. I had a shared bathroom. What i liked about it is that i had the room to myself and it was a FAN room. I really didnt want to have a/c. The management is nice and kind and very welcoming. I would stay here again if coming back to port barton!

So peaceful with beautiful views of the ocean, stars, and full moon. Nico and Jamie were excellent hosts - it was lovely to chat with them about their experience building the property and all of their travels. Breakfast there was such a nice experience - chatting with the hosts and other guests with Rose taking such good care of us. They don’t serve lunch or dinner, but there are two restaurants right next door. 15 minute walk to the pristine White Beach. If you want a great experience in the jungle, this is it!

Ziah’s guesthouse is located in a quiet area of Port Barton but 5 min walking from the main restaurants and shops. I really liked and enjoyed my stay. The room is big and comfortable and the balcony with a wooden sofa and a table are a plus for chilling after a long day. June, the owner, and his wife are very sweet and are going to make your stay comfortable. You can ask any recommendations for visiting spots around Port Barton. Free coffee every day. We stayed at Faith Tourist Inn for 5 days and it was just perfect - our host Shy and her family are so kind and welcoming , ensuring we have everything we need, the rooms are beautiful and clean and the location is amazing. The resort is located on a small beach where there are only a couple of other resorts, it is so quiet and peaceful and just beautiful. Shy organized our transfer from Puerto Princesa and boat transfer to the resort from port barton and also transfer to El Nido. She also can help with activities and suggestions. As the property is recent, they do not have a restaurant yet but you have free coffee and tea and there is another resort just next door where the food is excellent. It is a true paradise for anyone who enjoys peace and nature in a remote location yet where there is everything that you need. Thank you Shy and family for everything
