My partner and I stayed a few days at Quinta Vista do Vale last September, and absolutely fell in love. We knew then that it would be the perfect place to return for our family vacation, so we booked as soon as we could. We brought our 2 boys (age 15 and 17) this time, and stayed 3 nights before heading off to Italy and Spain. The property is absolutely gorgeous, and the hosts are so very welcoming and charming. They have mastered the art of respecting your privacy while being attentive and available if you need anything. We were able to spend a little bit of time with them, and upon request, they gave us a tour of the property. I recommend requesting a tour if they are available, as there are some very unique and interesting things on the property. Natalia, Jurgen, and Marcel are the most lovely people to talk with, and they take pride in their establishment, as they rightfully should. The accommodations are comfortable, and the views are breathtaking. There is a fully functional kitchen included, a bathroom with a shower (no tub), a common room with television and fireplace, and 2 separate, spacious bedrooms. They have WiFi with a good connection, and I believe there's satellite TV or similar, but we never even considered turning on the television, so I can't be certain. Walking around the property and enjoying the garden and pool were plenty enough for relaxing entertainment. Even our teenaged boys didn't have their faces planted in their phones, so that alone is an indication of how much there is to appreciate.

We loved the house and the surroundings - calm, quiet, fully immersed in nature. Our kids had fun playing in the lovely garden and the rec room. We enjoyed the barbecue and hanging out on the terrace. Pedro was very welcoming and the house was well-prepared, very clean and had everything we needed.

I could not recommend Castelo dos Sonhos more. It exceeded all my expectations. Below is what makes it so great: It's set in most beautiful location The host couldn't be more helpful and friendly. There are only 3 rooms and only 2 are let out at one time. It's fairly new and everything on offer to be used is in excellent condition. There is an ensuite and 2 internal bathrooms, one for each room. It's very clean too. It's beautifully decorated. Everything is of an excellent standard. There is an external kitchen where you can make from toast to an elaborate meal. There is large table there and another in the dining room. This place is simply beautiful with the most amazing host! She even offered me fruit on the fruit trees on the land.

Spacious and well-equipped house in a quiet village. A great option for relaxing. The kitchen is very well equipped and has all the utensils for preparing meals, which is practical for families and groups of friends. The whole place looks newly refurbished and has been decorated with care. The accommodation is very comfortable.
