Situated in Sai Yok, 24 km from Hellfire Pass Museum, La Levée Resort features accommodation with an outdoor swimming pool, free private parking, a garden and a terrace. 36 km from Malika R.E.124 The Siamese Living Heritage Town and 5.3 km from Saiyok Noi Waterfall, the resort provides a range of water sports facilities. Guests can grab a bite to eat in the restaurant or a drink at the snack bar and free WiFi is available.

The place is very nice, peaceful and beautiful. The personnel speak almost no English but everyone was extremely kind and helpful and google translator was very useful. The room is exceptionally comfy with amazing view over the river and mountains. It's far away from any shops etc so you need to get a taxi to go even to seven eleven. The breakfast is a set dish from 5 choises plus they have cereals and yoghurt. Also there are no western restaurant nearby (not that we knew of anyway) so we ate both evenings at the hotel. The food was very good, mainly asian choices. To arrive to the place we took a train from Kanchanaburi (River Kwai Bridge). Train was 100 baht per person and took 2 hours. From Nam Tok station to hotel the sawn-thaw taxi cost 300 baht but we negotiated it to 200. On one day we took same type of taxi to Erawan waterfalls, one hour drive and taxi for whole day was 1500 baht. The national park admission was 300 baht per person. Taxi waited us the whole time so we could spend as long as we wanted walking among the waterfalls.

Location was great. Bordering the jungle. Very kind host. Breakfast in the room. Great trips hosted by the owner (Kai), cheaper than anywhere else. Nice starting point for various excursions. Town is very quiet and authentic. You can eat traditional Thai on the side of the through road (bring google translate) By the way if you go to Erwan waterfalls and you want to swim you are obliged to use a swimming vest EXCEPT ON LEVEL 7. The highest and best level.

Fantastic rooms, great location and modern furnished in the bedrooms. The hotel offers two great pools and views to the river. There are bikes to ride around and the spaces are kept very cleaned and tidy which is great.

The spa bath on the patio was probably the most decadent experience I've ever had! A bubble sachet was provided every day. The room had the best selection of free snacks that I've ever seen. Luckily, I don't like plain Pringles otherwise I would have had a pack every day. The location on the river was ideal for me, providing a break from city life. It's perfect for a peaceful, relaxing break. It is not somewhere to go if you are looking for a lively time meeting lots of new people.

Location was amazing and exactly what we expected. Breakfast was good. Room was very clean and staff were all helpful. Appreciated the lift to the bus station when we left the resort and having a beautiful pool and walk to the Mon village was so special. Food at the restaurant was good and they were able to accommodate non meat eater and fussy teenagers. Would probably have stayed extra night if realised how beautiful it would be there.
