The hotel (actually a charming villa) was in a prime location, close to all the major attractions. The lady at the reception 🥰🥰🥰 was very friendly, welcomed us with complimentary chocolates. Both check-in and check-out were professionally handled and easy. The room was beyond comfortable, spotless and spacious, with elegant décor. Breakfast was a feast, with a wide variety of delicious options. Great restaurants and train station within walking distance. Ability to store your luggage after check-out. Hotel Lago Maggiore - Welcome! is situated on the beautiful lake promenade of Locarno, a few steps from the city centre. Hotel Lago Maggiore - Welcome! One of the best experiences I have ever had. The location was great, just next to the train station. Having a lake-view room will make your trip unforgettable. The room was quiet and the staff were very kind. Located near the center and shopping street and adjacent to the lake.

I Locarno, 4 minutters gange fra Piazza Grande Locarno og 5,2 kilometer fra Patriziale Ascona golfklubb, ligger Schloss Locarno - Suites & Apartments. The fully renovated studio apartment was in a great position a minute walk from the Grande Piazza, with large windows and a sit-down balcony. Fully equipped kitchen with oven, cooktop and coffee machine was a welcome extra. Ideal for a couple staying in Locarno for several days/ week. Parking in the Schloss grounds is right next to the front entrance.

Villa by @ Home Hotel Locarno ligger i Locarno, med Piazza Grande Locarno bare 13 minutters gange unna. This classic Italianate villa was really beautifully restored, very comfortable and with excellent amenities. The modern kitchen was very useful - apparently shared but we saw no one else! Great views from the room and huge wonderful balcony/terrace. Handy for the railway and buses. We loved it!

Boutique Centrale ligger i Brione sopra Minusio, 3,6 kilometer fra Piazza Grande Locarno. Her bor du med utsikt over byen. The location was so beautiful, away from the crowds with magnificent view. The lady who takes care of the hotel was very accommodating and gave us good tips regarding the area.

Charme Hotel al Torchio ligger i Ascona, 3,1 kilometer fra Piazza Grande Locarno og 41 kilometer fra Lugano jernbanestasjon. This was perhaps the cleanest hotel I have ever stayed in. Besides that, accommodations were excellent for a small hotel. Breakfast was wonderful and staff was friendly and caring. Location excellent, right around the corner from the lake.
